From the A38 take the Buckfastleigh turn-off  and follow the A384 signposted Dartington and Totnes. After the Riverford Bridge take the first turning on the right marked Velwell. The house is at the top of the hill on the left about 1/2 mile from the turn off.

From Totnes take the Ashburton road. At the Dartington Cider Press turn right towards Buckfastleigh on the A384. *Turn left immediately after the Rudolph Steiner School to Velwell. The house is at the top of the hill on the left about 1/2 mile from the turn off

From Dartington Hall take the road through the college away from Totnes. At Dartington church turn right onto the A384 towards Buckfastleigh and continue as for *

From Totnes Railway Station

Velwell House is about two and a half miles from the station
